  1. Hey everyone, We have ran into some cached data/autofill data that would be beneficial to clear on some of our student's iPads! The issue is that when we go to Settings->Safari, the option to "Clear History and Website Data" is greyed out. Does anyone know what specific policy or profile option that is turning this off? I tried to check the Knowledge base but couldn't find anything... I appreciate any and all help!
  2. I was able to figure it out with support! Ultimately, we still got the shown error in the above screenshots but this didn't stop the device from being added to our Apple School Manager. From there, we associated the device to our Filewave instance. The part I was failing at was I was only doing a basic Synchronization on the DEP Association page and not a FULL Synchronization. This populated the Apple TV allowing me to apply a DEP profile and proceed as normal! So all-in-all, disregard the error prompt and just proceed with the above steps! Haha Also: I don't think I had to do anything with the Enrollment Profile or Server Certificate Profile Apple Configurator 2 now just asks for the enrollment URL (Device Enrollment tab) and a Wireless Config file. Everything else is automatically configured in AC2 (at least for these specific Apple TVs).
  3. I failed to mention that I am trying to enroll over network. I am able to pair with the Apple TV and it acts as if it is going to be enrolled (Remote Management appears with our domain) but it states "Invalid Profile" on the Apple TV and gets stuck there!
  4. Hey Sean, I have looked at the following article but I believe it to be outdated as when I get to the step of adding the Enrollment Profile and Server Certificate, there is no place to upload them (photo). https://fwkb.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/4329514/Apple+TV+and+AC2+Apple+Configurator+2 If I click on the '+' under Trust Certificates, both of those .mobileconfig files are greyed out and are unable to be uploaded/added... I feel like I am missing something obvious...
  5. Hey everyone, We recently got donated two Apple TV 4Ks for our swim club and trying to get these enrolled via AC2 has been a nightmare! Haha We continue to run into this error. The device gets to steps 3/4 "Activating Apple TV" then once the TV restarts, AC2 reports this error... Has anyone ran into this before? I appreciate any and all help!
  6. Thank you for finding this and testing this out, Josh! I can confirm that creating a profile with just the basic "limited adult content" Web Filter turned on allowed us to remove the private browser on our iPads!
  7. Hello all, Has anyone been able to remove access to Private Browsing Mode in Safari on their iPads? If this is possible, I would love to hear how or if someone can provide a link to a walkthrough/support! Thank you for any and all help!
  8. Hey Nicolas, Thank you for your response! I believe we are going the route of cross-referencing with our AD! We do have authentication in place so that seems the most logical! Now it's just about making sure our AD information is accurate... Thank you for your feedback and help!
  9. Understood! Thank you for making me aware of this! I shall look into this and see how I can apply these custom fields!
  10. Hey Josh, I appreciate the reply! I was actually asked this same questions while at HECC and I am beginning to believe that will be our best bet moving forward. Right now we do not have any kind of custom fields in FW. Do you think I could still create some Smart Groups that pull each buildings subnet IP and be able to mass apply a Custom Field with the devices being organized in those groups?
  11. Hello all, I wanted to reach out to see how other districts are organizing their devices per building in FW (if you do at all)! Initially, we thought to try and make Smart Groups based off of Subnet IP but, that would not help if students visited other buildings and pulled the Applications/Profiles associated to that specific IP. Which leads me here! Does anyone have this in their structure? Are you just having one full Student iPad Smart Group, separating them, etc? If this question belongs somewhere else, please correct me! Thank you all,
