Lisa Wilson Posted March 21, 2023 Share Posted March 21, 2023 Is anyone else having a problem with enrolled new iPads (newest mini and full-size iPads) freezing an locking up while using guided access? Only way to fix it is by putting it into recovery mode and then rebooting the iPad. Cpruden Posted April 28, 2023 Share Posted April 28, 2023 We are in an education environment as well but do not use Guided Access as the passcode requirement creates issues when students move between rooms. Are you using the guided access as a way to keep a student locked into that app? If so, would using Apple Classroom be a functional alternative? Classroom allows the "teacher" to launch an app, and lock into it, on a student device.
