  1. Is that on macOS, Windows, or iPadOS? Or all? This one is complicated by the multiple platforms, but I know for macOS and Windows where I'm assuming the license question would come up the FileSets here; https://fwkb.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/4327902/TeamViewer+macOS+Client+Setup https://fwkb.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/4327890/TeamViewer+Windows+Client+Setup Those will help you get the TeamViewer Host client on your machines and shouldn't ask about a license. The full version of TeamViewer that you'd want to run on your FileWave Admin machines would mention a license, but you can run it without a license. It'll not force you to have one and we've handled all the legality of it with TeamViewer. In the case of iPadOS ( https://fwkb.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/4327912/TeamViewer+iOS+iPadOS+Client+Setup ) it's just installing QuickSupport so I'm imaginging your question was about either your admin machine or your clients.
  2. @Matt S just to be sure.. you upgraded to 14.8.0 and now all is good? Didn't want to leave you waiting if you meant you upgraded before this issue.
  3. One possibly related question because this affects Windows 11. Are you on FileWave 14.8.0 or something older on the client? I ask because PowerShell scripts wouldn't execute before 14.8.0 on Windows 11. Just wanted to throw out an easy possibility.
  4. Hi @Raj Jenkin have you seen https://twocanoes.com/products/mac/xcreds/ ? Seems like a promising solution. If anyone else here has implemented this yet and can share your success or challenges it would be great.
  5. Hi @Joe Caparcothe MAC address is used because when the device boots up and talks to the IVS server the MAC address is seen when doing PXE booting so it became the thing needed to make the association between an image and computer record. Usually with Dell I believe the MAC is printed on a sticker on the outside of the cardboard box it shipped in. Otherwise Dell should have a shipping manifest that can include the MAC address. I know from the previous company I worked at that Dell can make the MAC addresses available in a shipping list because we had a process where we had that uploaded to us with every shipment. On newer Dells there is a hidden MAC address used when using a USB dongle and it's that MAC address you really need if you image with a USB dongle. So the PXE boot is the reason MAC address was the thing needed to make the association, but hopefully another customer who buys Dells can chime in with their process and can confirm if they get the MAC address from a shipping manifest or other location/process.
  6. In the portal you can tell FileWave what you think of ideas and how important they are to your organization as well as submitting new ideas to FileWave Everyone should check it out: https://foundry.filewave.com/mod/page/view.php?id=583 (Remember to use Single Sign On for the login and contact customer.experience@filewave.com if you don't have access. Even if you never logged in before you can try "Forgot Password" and if you are in our system you'll get a password reset email.) The SSO system is the same one used here on the forums so if you were able to login here then you can login to Foundry.
  7. If you want to view Foundry courses when you are on your phone or tablet, you can use the Moodle app for Android or iOS. This will also let you download parts of courses to view offline. As we post more material this will be more and more helpful.
  8. The Product Management suggestion portal has updated items posted - https://foundry.filewave.com/mod/page/view.php?id=583
  9. In the KB I posted this article that has a Python script that can read a CSV file and then change the Enrollment User for a long list of devices. You could use this as an example of how to change just about any custom information item, and the script is fairly short and easy about how it works.
